Healthy Living

My favorite thing to do is focus on my health. When I first started college, I wasn't as focused on my health because I was more focused on making friends and starting my new life. I started paying attention more around my Junior year. I started going to the gym more and eating healthier. This was a challenge for me to begin with because I was working two jobs, while going to school full time, and trying to make time for friends and family. As I started getting more into it, I realized that the best times for me to go were either early in the morning or later at night.
Now that I am working full time and still attending school, I notice that I do best making time in the morning. I like to get up early, before work and go for a walk and do some at home workouts. I have not found a good time to get myself to the gym yet, but I am slowly working on figuring out the best schedule for me. People tend to get tired at work, especially me, but I know that working out wakes me up, makes me feel more motivated, and feel better overall, so my best advice is to go after work. I would also recommend looking up some easy meals to make to take with you to work. There are so many different types of meals that are super healthy, easy to make and prep for work, and easy to clean up!
You may feel tired and not in the mood to go get sweaty and tired, but trust me, you will feel so much better afterwards. It is so important to make time for your health because it not only helps you feel physically healthier, but it also helps you feel more mentally healthy. It gives you a place to clear your mind and work out any of your frustrations. It allows for you to have an outlet to get rid of any frustrations you have from the day. If you feel you are too busy to give yourself even an hour a day to go to a gym, then I would recommend these at home workouts. They allow you to work on yourself without having to make time to drive somewhere. These are my favorite things to do at home when I feel very stressed out in my personal life, so check them out!
